Corporate Social Responsibility

Our charity partner is local charity Seashell Trust

The Seashell Trust is located within a 10-minute drive from our office. They are dedicated to providing a creative, happy and secure environment for children and young people with complex and severe learning disabilities which include little or no language abilities.

With the expertise of their specialist teachers, care staff, onsite therapy team, assistive technologists, swimming teachers, and sports coaches, the students learn how to express themselves, engage with the world around them, become more independent, and live safe, creative, and fulfilling lives.

We raise money for The Seashell Trust throughout the year. Just last year we walked as a team for 25 miles over 12 hours to complete the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. We have raced 10km to complete the Great Manchester run, baked countless cakes and competed in pumpkin carving challenges!

It’s not just about fundraising either, Sapphire has helped The Seashell Trust to place 2 new apprentices by using our apprenticeship levy funds.

Operation Christmas

We are delighted to be taking part, once again in Samaritan’s Purse: Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box project to help provide Christmas presents to children who need it most. If you would like to learn more here.

The Sapphire team raised the bar for Seashell Trust by completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in 12 hours. Learn more here.

Tackling Mental Health with CALM84 FC

We’re delighted to support CALM84 FC Crewe, a local sports team that is passionate about raising money for good causes, especially mental health awareness and suicide prevention. We hope our support can push the lads on to raising plenty more for these worthy causes as well as looking the part on their travels!

The Great Manchester Run

This year the team took part in the Great Manchester Run, all completing their 10k race between 52 & 65 minutes. The team were raising money for Cancer Research this year and we able to raise a total of £600 alongside one of the team members at Calm 84 FC.

Ultra White Collar Boxing

This year a member of our team will be taking part in the Manchester Ultra White Collar Boxing event in aid of Cancer Research. This event will see all participants taking part in 8 weeks of boxing training prior to the event. The competitions take place across the UK and have raised a total of £20 million so far!
